How do I get started in the industry?

In order to get started in the industry, you need to be employed by a water service provider. One of the best ways to start off is to apply for a traineeship. The jobs page lists organisations that employ trainees.


What previous experience/qualifications do I need?

This all depends on the pathway you want to take and the role you are interested in. Most traineeships require the completion of year 10 and an enthusiasm for learning.


What study options do I have?

There are a variety of options for developing and increasing your skills for working in the water industry or having your current skills recognised. Which course or training option you take will depend on your role and desired outcomes.
